The photos on the the site are very deceptive The resort is very rundown it looks like a ghost town. Service very basic and no experienced staff We booked a two bedroom apartment, the kitchenette doesn’t have any cutlery or dishes, we were surprised that it was forbidden to cook in the apartment. The apartment floor was just repaired maybe the day before the glue was still fresh. We have two young kids and booked it exactly to cook some food for the kids. The beach was dirty and staff just pile up the rubbish along the beach. The breakfast 3 star quality to be generous,very chaotic place. Not going back until been refurbished and is under new management

Loved our stay here. Nice comfortable rooms, air con worked well. Pool was awesome nice & big, beach beautiful. Buffet Breakfast had a great variety. Staff & security friendly. Only negative comment was the cost of washing. $90 NZ dollars for a plastic bag full! Would stay again 😊

Unfortunately, this was a little disappointing. The hotel was quite run down and in need of capital injection to upgrade. Their advertising is a little misleading as there is no shopping plaza there, apparently has not been there for a few years since covid struck. It seems that getting back on track is not easy. I hope things work out for the Citadines Pearl Hotel. Their staff were beautiful.

The hotel could have been nice had it been well maintained& tenanted. It had many shops attached to it, but all empty and gave the place a slightly eery feel. Lotte cinema was on the premises& that was nice. The apartment floor wasn't clean and it was pretty sticky. At night you can't open the windows as there was a horrible sewage smell, not sure if that's just our unit or all units.. The area had really nice facilities.. Beach frontage (but sadly dirty with rubbish on the shore), big pool, small kids playground& a little outdoor futsal pitch. Service was acceptable, some of the staff were really nice. When we checked out, they claimed we took their laundry bags & slippers. In the end, we didn't pay for the slippers as we obviously did not take it, but paid for 2 exorbitantly priced laundry bags though we only took 1 (didnt know it was chargeable as nowhere else in the world have we experienced this). Overall this hotel has potential, but will not recommend this place - sadly poorly maintained & way overpriced for the experience you get.

The rooms are big and well furnitured. Unfortunately it is very humid inside and our cloth and ducumentd became wet. Even the walls were wet. The floors of the hotel looks more like a hospital and many stores are empty and looks like a ghost town. The breakfast was very good and at least the servant were very helpful. At the front desk nobody cared about if we liked our stay there or not. In my opinion very far away from a 5 star hotel...
