Perfect location and service! We were beyond happy with every aspect of our stay at the Pope’s Window. Paola made the entire check in a breeze & recommended several restaurants which were perfection. The rooms were nice and the area had several great restaurants and coffee shops along with a small market across the street. They also pre-arranged for a driver to take us to the airport upon leaving which was a responsible price and paid directly to the driver. The location was a highlight! It’s an easy walk to the Vatican and many other main attractions. We will definitely be staying here again and wished we had more time to spend at the Pope’s Window!

A good and cost effective place to stay. Unless you arrive in the morning, it is a bit tricky to get inside the building as you must have data or wifi to be able to communicate to the host via text. She will then open the doors remotely. After that, you get a key and card to access the room. Ours was the Arcadia room. The bathroom makes a weird noise after flushing, which is apparently normal here. The shower head was behind the shower door, which made it difficult to open the door unless you remove it. It had been dropped many times based in the state of the shower head. They clean the rooms every other day and provided some water, tea and coffee. No laundry service available. It is closed to the Vatican and some good restaurants such as the Dai Meie. The bus stop is just across the road. Clean and comfortable beds. It has AC, hair dryer and a hair straightener. Just be careful not too make too much noise early in the morning or late at night while leaving or arriving, as the neighbour may complain. Also, close the wooden doors inside the elevator, otherwise you will get a note from them as well. There seem to be cameras everywhere. The host is nice and willing to help. The only issue we had was that the Internet service didn’t work for about day and a half, not the host fault.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Paola was very helpful from before we arrived, she communicated with us to let us know the hotels procedure. Breakfast is provided (pasties, coffees etc...) There is a communal kitchen with no seats. However there are seats in the room. Public transport is right outside also. The 64 bus service to the main station is very frequent and give access to the metro also. The Vatican is also less than a 5 minute walk away. We will be recommending everyone stay at the Pope's Window 🙂
