Overall the hotel is a great choice! The service was fantastic and there’s plenty of local vendors/shops and eateries to try. The 7/11 is also very close by. The Cuban themed decor makes it very unique. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Removing one star because my bathroom did not have hot water and there was some noise in the hallway at night. Apart from that the Quba is a great hotel for the value and I would come again!

This is the type of hotel you will love or hate. It has a strong Cuban theme throughout and this makes it quite quirky and adds atmosphere. There is no natural light coming into my room and it was a very small room but there is something I still like about this place. Staff were nice and location is good.

Having stayed in hostels, 3-stars, and 5-stars all across Thailand, I know what to expect. The Quba was possibly my worst experience by far. Right from checking in, I booked two rooms for King Bed, I was allocated twin beds - what's the point of reservation then? We got to our rooms to find the complimentary water bottles and toiletries missing, we call the reception and it takes 45 minutes and 3 calls to get the housekeeping to come to our room. The arrogant housekeeper then has the audacity to say "only 1 water" and when I said we have NO water, she had to ask twice to believe it, only then she reluctantly handed over 2 complimentary bottles of water that should have been there, to begin with. Everytime we needed something, it took them close to an hour to get to our room. I spotted a cockroach merrily going about near the telephone in the room. At our check-out date, I asked for toilet paper at 10am and was told "Ma'am, since this is your check out day, we cannot give you anything." I THOUGHT I HAD BOOKED THE ROOM TILL 12 PM!? The rooms are so close by that even if someone in the next room is talking quietly, you can still hear it through the walls. Even the location is not a saving grace. Disapoointment all around. At this point, I was fed up and wanted to get out. Thankfully, it was only 1 night. Do Not Recommend!

It was a good place to stay first 5 days then extended a few more days. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room with cozy patio was clean, not huge but the shower room is large and hot/high pressure water is great. I got 2-3 days Breakfast, limited options, open to 1030 AM. Good caffe machine however after breakfast would be 80 Baht. Pool & Gym are small but clean and ready. For sure will be back to Spanish Style Quba Hotel :-)
