We have been fortunate to have been a Guest of this wonderful property many times. We are so happy to share that expectations are always exceeded here. While the building and rooms are truly beautiful - where the property shines is the absolutely outstanding and detail focused service offered to every Guest. On check in our rooms were not ready (note we checked in at 930AM) - but the team made a point to quickly process rooms of Guests checking out and immediately let us know once the rooms were ready (less than 2 hours). We were celebrating my birthday - and almost every staff member I interacted with wished me a Happy Birthday! Shared in the picture is a complimentary amenity offered for my birthday - including cake and a bottle of sparkling wine! Richard at the pool bar was so gracious with us - remembering what we liked to drink from a visit over a year ago - he always makes us feel so welcome here. As we were going back down with our luggage to check out - the lady who was cleaning rooms noticed we were heading out with luggage - and said that she hopes we return again. As shared - the building is beautiful and it is easy to get that part right - but getting an entire team so focused on Guest satisfaction - that part is difficult and this property nails it! Looking forward to our next visit!!

The hotel truly lives up to its expectations. The staff members are all so genuine and always happy to try and accommodate any requests to make your stay feel more comfortable. The staff members are also very knowledgeable and informative of the area and are so kind to help with reservations for restaurants or booking other activities for you. The housekeeping staff is the backbone of any hotel and they do exceptional work by keeping the rooms very hygienic and spotless, providing fresh towels and bedding daily (without having to request it like most hotels), and also providing a lovely turndown service (also without request). The pool and ocean view from the rooms are beautiful. Everything about this hotel is genuinely clean, luxurious, and spa-like. The location itself is right down the main strip with lots of restaurants and shopping. The beach is right across from the hotel, where staff members also provide you with loungers, towels, and an umbrella service as soon as you step onto the beach. I could go on and on, but let’s stop by just saying once more, the Ritz-Carlton is an exceptional and luxurious place to stay for your next visit to Fort Lauderdale!

Such a joke, spent around 1500 on a two night stay. I booked the a king sized bed with an ocean view. Upon arrival the front desk lady already was treating me slightly rude, was nice at first when I came up to the front desk, but her attitude changed towards me once she found out I booked a room and already full paid for it, maybe it’s because I’m younger. I don’t know. Upon walking into the room I see that they probably gave me the worst possible ocean view room they have. I can barely even see the ocean. The first evening there me snd my girlfriend decide we want to take a hot bath in the large tub in the bathroom. Well, the bathtub temperature handle is broken, we immediately call the front desk and they say someone will be up to fix it. They never came, it wasn’t until the next day when we wanted to take a bath, and my girlfriend had to call the front desk again and basically have to depend them come fix it. They came about two hours later to fix it. To top it all off, while I am using the bathroom I see a big ole spider and a spider web in the corner of toilet area. Such a joke of a hotel. We stayed at the La Quinta after the “ritz carlton” and had a much better experience for a tenth of the price. Then after all this, I emailed them and they said to make it up they will upgrade a basic room I book, to a suite, at least give me a free room or even a partial refund, jeez what happened to the “One aspect of the Ritz's service that has received a lot of coverage is the fact that the Ritz empowers its employees to spend up to $2,000 to solve customer problems without asking for a manager.” Do not come here
