5 stars because service made up for everything. Erick, Fiona, Aaron- they were impeccable which made my stay better. Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite. We were not upgraded due to high occupancy but we were offered the next day and staffs moved it for us. Lounge access is not offered - not even to Ambassador members which is quite shocking to me but they made up by offering due to their shortfall. We didn’t eat as we already had dinner plans.. Only had a few a few drinks & enjoyed the view. Located very near the metro, though not as near as Sheraton but still walkable. As a Platinum don’t expect much upgrade here but if you prefer service this is what they are good at.

Fantastic, FANTASTIC over the top service. We stayed 3 nights in a king (upgraded to junior suite / worth it , the bed is 10 feet long.. literally), club level (20th floor), and ended up canceling our flight to Japan to extend and stay 3 nights longer at the Ritz. All of the staff was great, but the club lounge staff truly elevated our experience. They greeted us by name, were extremely attentive to every need throughout their 5 presentations a day (breakfast, lunch, tea/champagne, dinner, dessert), and went out of their way to assist with questions, recommendations. Fiona and Eric are leading the club level team well. Thank you to Kelly at the front desk for her excellent attentive service as well. Spa was great. We really appreciate everyone’s effort to make our stay A+ and look forward to visiting again.

Overall: Strongly recommend who's looking for exceptional service, on top of decent rooms at a wonderful location, at an affordable rate. Service: Top notch team. Huge kudos to the management for hiring and training a pool of fantastic talents. I've been to other five star luxury hotels like Mandarin Oriental and even Peninsula (in Beijing), but the services are non-comparable to the Ritz Shenzhen. The team here, from concierge, to lobby staff, to the Italian restaurant, to room cleaning, all the staff demonstrated thoughtfulness and genuine care, beyond being polite and helpful. Location: A few mins taxi ride from high speed railway (HSR) station, and convenient to go to other central part of Futian. Rooms: Very nice, clean and decent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 6days long stay at Ritz Carlton, Shenzhen. The location of the hotel is amazing, it's next to a mall full of great restaurants and shopping outlets. The view from hotel is astonishing. I am falling short on words to express my gratitude for the hospitality offered. The entire staff here took great care of me, and offered help for every request of mine. The room is equipped with detailed utility items one may need. The in-room dining breakfast is just great. Wide variety of food items including vegan and vegetarians. I often struggle to find vegetarian food, but the restaurant here had great vegetarian and specially the Indian food. The overall service and hospitality is top notch. I feel greatful towards the whole staff here. Xiexie Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay, especially when I’m in Shenzhen, I prefer it over St. Regis —-key reason being: Their service, and Jack Lien, is the superstar! He is like friend or family member away from home. He goes an extra mile out of his way to ensure that I get the best stay experience. This time around I had an opportunity to meet Karan Jain, general manager, several times. I was impressed how he is actually not sitting in office but taking care of guests needs (ie serving coffee and food etc by himself in the restaurant). Only minor thing is that their rooms need an update. Overall, 5 stars due to superstar management and staff!
