The Shoreline Stay

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, and tend to put lack of cleanliness or bad service down to someone having a bad day, but that could not excuse what I saw here. If I could have left the night we arrived, I would have. Unfortunately I had to sleep on unwashed sheets for a night and waste 4-5 hours of my time sorting it out and booking elsewhere for the rest of our time here. This place was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in, ever. There was a mass of hair around the plug; the shower looked like mine would if I didn’t clean it in over 6 months at home (I never let it get that bad, even working full time, and this is a hotel, supposedly). The drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom within 1 minute. There was toothpaste all over the sink from the previous guests. All very obvious signs of not being cleaned, which made me wonder what dirt was left unseen. After seeing how dirty the bathroom was, I smelled the pillowcases: they smelled like they hadn’t been washed in well over a week. Absolutely disgusting. I’m sorry, but I haven’t experienced this anywhere else. It lacked the very bare minimum of what can be expected from a hotel - clean sheets. I requested a different room and was offered two more, each worse than the last! The beds were made up, suggesting they thought they were ready for guests, but in one there was a large, bright yellow blob of dried urine on the middle of the toilet seat. Toothpaste everywhere on the sink again. Unclean pillows also. Hair all around the plug, big clumps. The man showing us the room cleaned the large blob of dried urine while I was there, but didn’t even wipe the rest of the seat! In the next, same thing with the plug, sink, pillows, and the toilet had not even been flushed. I ended up having to take the pillows which smelled cleanest out of the lot. We moved the next day. The staff offered to clean our room the next day but I honestly couldn’t trust them to and didn’t want to waste any more time. Even if they sorted the cleanliness issue, the bed was the hardest I have slept on in Asia, and that is really saying something. I don’t mind a hard bed, or a little dirt, but this was beyond comprehension. Truly the dirtiest hotel I have ever laid eyes on. Sorry.

Best Homestay in an bang by far. Walk right out in the pool. Really friendly guests and staff Clean, nice bathroom,Samsung flatscreen with mirror funktion. Comfy bed. They help you with whatever you need. Motorbike,laundry,etc They serve from the bar to the pool Highly recommended awesome value for money, i wouldent stay anywhere else
