I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here while in Dover to visit family over a weekend in January. The large Victorian house is beautifully maintained and decorated, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. My room was just as described on the website, with a cozy feel, comfortable bed, natural light, and extra amenities such as bottled water, a silver ice bucket, small TV, and inconspicuous mini-fridge. Because of poor weather, I ended up spending more time in the room than planned, and it was a pleasant place for reading and working. The common rooms downstairs include the dining room, which is big enough that you can enjoy your meal without feeling like you are crowded with other guests, and a sitting room. The breakfast included many options to choose from, everything delicious and prepared to order. You will enjoy the tea and coffee stations, which are open 24-hours, and allow you to bring pots to your room. The location is great: I left my car in the small parking lot and walked everywhere in Dover. The kicker for me was that I awoke on the morning of my departure to find that it had snowed 6 inches overnight, and the staff had cleared the snow from all of the guests' cars!

We booked a long New Years weekend and the experience was amazing! Within walking distance to lots of good places to eat/bars. The breakfast service was phenomenal and everyone was so friendly and courteous. The tea selection was huge and they have something for everyone. Overall amazing experience I would do 10 stars if I could.

Shared a lovely afternoon tea at Silver Fountain Inn. Really special experience. Such a beautifully decorated Victorian. We enjoyed the Christmas themed lunch everything was delightful. The menu changes each month and so many teas to choose from. I had the caramel Chai. My friend chose winter solstice. Wonderful way to celebrate the holiday together will definitely be returning 😊

I drink tea. No coffee. My dear friend Christy takes me to the Silver Fountain Tea Room for my birthday. Reservations need to be made in advance. The food is simple, scones are served with clotted cream, and there are a wide variety of teas and herbals to choose from. It's a lovely experience. I've never stayed as an overnight guest, but we're talking about doing one of the Murder Mystery events. It's in a beautifully maintained Victorian. I am hoping.

I didn't rate rooms because we rented out the Carriage House for a couples bridal shower. Virtually all the guests were locals, so nobody rented a room to stay on-site. The service during the shower was exemplary! EILEEN IS THE BEST! She is dynamite! The Silver Fountain Inn team was so easy to work with through the process of booking and reserving the facility, to the setup, to incidentals, my various requests, and inquiries - everything was fantastic. They are very responsive. I highly recommend them for your events! I traveled in from out of state, but even with being unfamiliar with the area, the inn and events spaces are barely a minute or so off the highway and are very easy to find. Definitely consider them for your next event or for an overnight stay!
