Great hotel!! This is such a cool place. I really love how they leaned into the school theme and kept its character and used some of the old pieces of the building for art as you can see in the hallways. Super bathrooms are great and have everything you need, including full size bottles of lotion, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Something I think a lot of hotels don’t give you! That’s a big plus for me. I love a good hotel bathroom. Everything is very clean and great location. Love this concept and I would definitely stay here again.

The Slate is super cool! Amenities abound, great restaurant with awesome food and drinks, next level service, nice rooms, and a beautiful atmosphere. I would love to stay here again for any reason. It's also located right near many points of interest and shops, so you're never very far from anything you may need or want to see. This hotel is absolutely worth your consideration as a spot to stay!

The Slate Denver is AMAZING. The hotel is built from an old school and Hilton did an amazing job carving out a fabulous hotel with all the charm of the old school. I understand all the rooms are a little different, our room was a fabulous King with everything you expect in a 4/5 star hotel. The Staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure everything is just perfect. IF YOU ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO DENVER, THE SLATE DENVER IS A MUST STAY! Front Desk: Doug checked us in and made sure I had everything I needed and followed up with a text message 15 minutes later making sure the room was okay. He also followed up the next day along with Anthony to make sure we were still happy with the room and hotel. Nice touch and very appreciated! Breakfast: Amazing food and while enjoying our breakfast I noticed that every person working "The Teachers Lounge" that morning stopped by our table to make sure "everything was okay", I'm sorry I don't have all of their names. Teachers Lounge Bar: WOW amazing Old Fashions from Ben behind the bar, perfect every time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

This is an absolutely awesome hotel. As a teacher, I truly enjoyed staying in this converted school turned hotel. The entryway to the staircases to the hallways scream SCHOOL'S IN SESSION! I loved every moment of it. My parents and I stayed for two weeks to enjoy Colorado. The front desk staff was welcoming and accommodated our needs. We used the valet parking because of ease; the car is parked directly across from the lobby in a secured covered lot. The location is fantastic too - we were in walking distance from the convention center, the capital, the art museum, and pretty much all of downtown. The lobby always had the fireplace on and the teachers' lounge was always ready to pour you a drink. As a Diamond member, we took advantage of the restaurant credit daily to enjoy breakfast. My mom said this was some of the freshest fruit she had in a long time. The breakfast burrito, breakfast plate, and shrimp and grits were standouts. The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. We had a view looking out over Colfax and could see the lights of City Hall each night. I will definitely make The Slate my home away from home in Denver!
