The hotel was well placed in Milan close the the Cathedral and all the main shopping plazas. It was comfortable and exactly in line with expectation. The restaurant located on the rooftop was beautiful, well decorated and the food was delicious. I was a little confused when myself and my partner went for a drink on the rooftop bar prior to dining in the restaurant to be told we couldn't order drinks unless we spent a certain amount per person, we explained we were also dining in to be told that dinner matter so we decided to leave it and wait for our table in the restaurant for about 2 mins later the drinks we were told we couldn't have arrived. Still no idea what that was about. All in all a lovely stay

Nice hotel walking distance to Duomo. Rooms are clean, small, but have all the amenities one needs. The hotel offers great breakfast, ours was included with our stay. They do not offer valet nor have self parking, however, there is a parking nearby and the hotel will validate for you. The best part of the hotel is their rooftop bar/restaurant with a gorgeous view of the city. They have a DJ and sometimes a violin player. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time, it is a very busy and popular spot even for locals. Friendly staff, good service and food. This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Square. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and modern, the breakfast was amazing. One of our best in our two week trip around different places. It was air conditioned (which was great given the heat wave when we were there) and they held our luggage when we arrived early so we could explore the city. Overall we would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Square Milano when we visited Milan in September, 2023. The hotel is central to everything to do in Milan, so it has a great location. Our room was on the first floor, and we had to take an elevator from floor zero to floor one. We had to walk past a restaurant and a long hallway to get to our room. The room itself was nice, but there were things I hated about it. Every time I entered the room, the TV would turn in with the most irritating music. Also, the shower didn't have a door or a strip on the floor to keep the water from flooding the entire bathroom. We had to put a towel down, but it would get completely soaked. Overall, it was a good experience, and the location was amazing. I also liked that there was an extra room because I needed to do some work in the middle of the night (time zone shift); I was as able to avoid disturbing my wife! I would stay here again if wanting to visit central Milan for the location alone, but I would still shop around for similar hotels in the area.

The check in was delayed by 30 minutes despite having made a reservation a month ago. The room was a real disappointment. Odd furniture setting, with an open shelf in the middle of the room with no real storage space. The curtains were wrinkled and shabby, the bedsheet had holes in it, dirt marks on the walls etc, not expected from a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was average. On a positive, the staff were polite, courteous and professional and the location is fantastic. But the room experience was really disappointing given that it is a 4 star hotel.
