I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 4 bed, all female room and it was really nice! The beds were comfy (no dip in the middle or springs in your back) and there were small lockers that did actually lock! (bring your own lock) It's very close to the train station and several different city bus lines, so not hard to get around. There was a private bathroom that was really nice too! My only complaints would be that there was no laundry (laundromat close by, but still) and the shower was a push button that only turned on for 10 seconds. Always kinda a pain when hostels have this kind of shower. Also the WiFis a little spotty, so if you need a strong connection for work I recommend a cafe. There's lots close by with good WiFi. Otherwise really great place! 10/10 would recommend.

I wouldn‘t write a review so long after staying at a place but the recent reviews mentioning bed bugs have really caught my eye and shocked me. I stayed in this hostel in July 2022 and was bitten over my whole body by bed bugs. I had learned they were bed bug bites when I came back home. I had contacted the hostel about this and they had confirmed about the bugs and assured me that they were doing everything they can to get rid of them. However, the recent reviews seem to confirm that not enough has been done. This hostel needs a serious anti bed bug treatment and guests have to be aware of this. I see so many positive reviews about cleanliness and staff which is fine but I don‘t think most people realize while they are there that they are at serious risk of getting bitten and taken the bugs with them without knowing. So I urge the hostel to take this seriously. I hope this review will help potential guests making up their minds about it as it has been 1.5 years since the issue seems to persist (or it has returned?). Bed bugs are a serious problem and it can get very expensive to treat them yourself if you take them home. Be warned.

Stayed there 4 nights. They have 24/7 reception, which allowed me to do the check in at 1am when I arrived from the airport. They speak a pretty good English. The interaction with the stuff was flawless. The cleaning ladies always greeting with a smile and they were polite. They also have breakfast to offer for a cost and nice terrace for outings/drinks. I stayed in a room of 6 mixed persons. Haven't had any inconvenience with none of my roommates. The room has storage for every bed, you just need to bring a locker with you or buy one from the reception. The bed was comfortable, offering a power socket and a small light. The biggest plus of the room was the air conditioning. It felt always refreshing when entering the room of which temperature was set at 22 Celsius degrees. While outside in the peak of the day you could feel even 40 degrees haha. The bathroom was a small one for both mixed rooms, but it was well maintained and modern. Only the showers could have been a bit better as you have to press every 1-2 minute to have continuously running water. They also offer towels for a cost at the reception in case you didn't take any with you. And the location is great too. It's probably less than 5 minutes walk from the city's central. I'd book again to stay at this place! I recommend it! Thank you guys for hosting me and for the great overall service! :)

I stayed here 5-8th June in a private double with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and spacious. The staff are delightful especially the lovely man who checked me in. The venue hostel is very close to the main train station and is about 20 mins walking to the centre of town. There are also some handy bus routes nearby. The area of the hostel is quite commercial and not the most aesthetically pleasing - however it is perfectly safe. I met some lovely people here BUT you really have to make the effort as there aren't any social events put on by the hostel. Would I stay again - Yes!!
