We stayed at The Walden House in November. Our room was extraordinary - great view of Table Mountain and Lion‘s Head, clean and very spacious. The staff is great. There was a very nice welcome and everyone was very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. We asked for vegan breakfast and got served different warm and cold meals every morning. It was one of the best vergan breakfasts we have had. We highly recommend The Walden House.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Walden House. Well located close to Table Mountain, spacious rooms with air con and fantastic management by Amy and her team. No question was too much for her.

The Walden house and Amy made our visit to Cape Town so comfortable and relaxing. I cannot thank Amy enough for making this trip so special for us. They were accommodating and the room is just stunning! The linen and towels were very luxurious and there was ample cupboard space. The room was clean and the view of course spectacular. I would definitely recommend this gem.

I stayed at the Walden House for 2 nights after arriving in Cape Town. It’s a beautiful house with a gate, spacious, air conditioned rooms, and a lovely cooked breakfast. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They gave me recommendations on where to eat dinner (solo American woman) nearby. The location is very close to Table Mountain and easily accessible to most of Cape Town’s attractions.
