My partner and I had a great experience at the resort. The place is away from all the tourists, so it was quiet and calm, plus a beautiful view to the mountain. The staff was a small hard working team. They were very friendly and helpful, made our stay very comfortable.

Very good value hotel with a huge swimming pool, and nice rooms. Yes, the rooms are not very large, yes, the shower is quite small, and it can get quite smelly. However, this last part has nothing to do with the hotel, but to the fact that there is no sewage system on the island, you'll experience the same thing in Paros, Bali... On a brighter note, you'll experience lots of great activities during your stay and meet great people if you take time to discuss with them. You can rent cars, ATVs, quads, scooters, or buggies directly from the reception for a very good price and no hidden fees (which can happen sometimes). The car will be dropped off directly in the parking of the hotel. You can also book tours such as the volcano tour, sail on a catamaran to see the sunset, or even scuba diving. This island has so much more to offer that you'll forget about the little inconvenience of a small shower in which you'll spend 5 minutes a day. Finally, I would like to thank the entire staff, Nana, Giorg, Inga, and especially Tasos and Lia from the reception who are doing their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were very helpful and very friendly through the entirety of our stay

Great service from the team, especially Tasos who went out of his way to help us address any issues we had during our stay the best he could. There is a reception here despite other reviews, and the staff are as helpful as they can be in the circumstances, unfortunately people forget that this Greek Island isn’t as fortunate to have 24 hour availability for repairs and electrics as Athens and other places do, so rated 5/5 for the efforts the team went to to ensure this was a great stay, that says everything about the property.

We stayed in the hotel for three days in May 2023. We are super happy with Thera Mare's services. The room is clean and service people are very nice and helpful. Especially the receptionist ,Tasos, we found no room for him to improve his work. He was willing and ready to answer all questions we had and he knows the area very well and gave us lots of suggestions. His knowledge and skills are far beyond our expectations. When we had a wifi problem in our room he immediately let us move to another room and helped us solve other problems timely. We can not be happier with his great work.
