Timhotel Paris Gare du Nord

I would rate Timhotel more a 3.5/4 out of 5. Our rooms were clean, all of the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good! And they kept our bags for us before the check in time, and after the check in time, and everything was safe! They also have Wi-fi and had good air con in room. P.s. if you are Muslim and worried, like I said the staff were really nice to us, no discrimination against us happened! The area is also extremely convenient, as it’s right opposite the train station, where if you’re form London you may be taking the Eurostar back, and if you’re going to be travelling in Paris by train, you’re most likely going to be taking the Gare du Nord (the main station) everywhere you go to get to your destination. Also the area is quite nice once you walk away from the business of the station area, so make sure to explore it if you have the time! The cons tho: -when we arrived the manager said we had to pay tax, it was cheap, there was 3 of us and we had to pay €11, however I think they should definitely make that clear on their website or atleast send an email the day before you leave stating you need to pay tax once you arrive, as we was kind of off guard. -there is no mini fridge in our hotel room. -they do not have hand wash, but they do have bars of soap, but I think a hand wash would’ve been more appropriate. -they do not have body wash, like I said only bars of soap. -we also called them about 2 months ago when we booked asking them where they would keep our bags, they said to us over the phone they would keep it in a cabinet, there is no cabinet, that’s a lie, they keep it either in the breakfast area or the reception area, the good thing is that they put tags on them with numbers, so they know whose bags are whose. However, overall it was good, we were all girls we felt pretty safe.

Good budget hotel near Gare du Nord if you are visiting Paris. Excellent location, clean, no frills. Generally very good deals if you bundle the hotel room with the eurotunnel.
