We stayed as a family of 4 in a bunk room for 2 nights upon arrival to Tokyo. For the price, it was a very good little hotel. The rooms are very small, but it is clean and has all the amenities you need, plus the mattresses were much more comfortable than others we’ve experienced in Japan! We found the front desk staff very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We loved that there is a 7-11 very close by and that the river, temple and surrounding shops are a very short walk. As others have said, it’s a bit of a walk to Asakusa station - we taxied from Ueno on arrival and only had to walk to Asakusa upon departure - it was fine to do once and a very short taxi otherwise.

First I would like to thank the staff for helping me locate my lost luggage using the airport delivery service! The price is great, building and rooms look very new, the hospitality is amazing and the location was close to the station. I also like that they have a smoke room in the lobby and a cafe connected to the hotel. Will definitely be booking with them again in the future!

The hotel has a great location that is within walking distance of the temples. The staff are super friendly, pleasant, and extremely helpful. We had to checkout a day earlier than expected since we had booked our shinkansen train tickets really early and didn't want to have to rush to get to the Tokyo metro.

Everything about the hotel for the budget we paid for was good. With an exception of one particular male counter staff who dampened my Tokyo experience slightly. I came back around 1130am thinking check out time was 12noon. The staff told me quite sternly and without any smile that I need to pay extra jpy 2200 for overtime. I politely explained in simple English that during check in ,I reiterated to another check in staff and confirmed It was 12noon. (Perhaps she also couldn't understand English too -_-). Nevertheless, I was willing to pay despite my explanation but he kept insisting I need to pay right on the spot. He kept showing me the amount in his calculator. So I explained isn't it by 12? I'll need to collect my luggage from the room , isn't it? I could pay when I check out by 12noon. He went on to inform his other lady colleague to remember to bill me extra hours in Japanese. I don't really speak the language but could understand alittle. That really upsets me. He refused to give me his name. I hope the hotel can look into English speaking staff as this hotel has many foreigners like me too.
