The location is great. The photos don’t lie, you have an incredible view of Acropolis on the rooftop. The room is nice and comfortable, windows are soundproof, the bathroom is small but it’s easy to use. AC is working. You can leave your luggage if you want to wander around the city. Great option for two!

We stayed for two days in Athens at the toStay hotel. Unfortunately the bathroom‘s electricity was more or less burning, so the air was actually not breathable. We reported that and the only answer we‘d get was to not switch on the light … in a room without a window. On top of that the bed’s mattress was dirty. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel, the service was horrible. We’re gonna stay at a different place the next time.

The location is perfect to discover Athens just by walking : Acropolis, Plaka, Sintagma,.. The appartement is just like photos, there is everything you need for a good stay.. little kitchen with equipments, towels, comfortable bed,.. Don’t miss the beautiful view from the terrace Even if the appartement is located in a very busy neighborhood, once you close the window you hear nothing, we had a very good sleep. Self checking, codes are communicated by host before arriving. The host was very kind, they kept our luggage after checkout for free. It was perfect. We highly recommend.

PROS: - Excellent location, two blocks away from the subway and surrounded by very good and cheap restaurantes (cheap compared to Mykonos or Santorini). - Apartment was quiet. - AC worked fine and kept the room cool. - Nice appliances, it had everything you need if you want to cook or keep things in the fridge. - Instruction were sent before we arrived on how to get in, and they were very good and detailed. CONS: - Very small place for three people. - Our sofa bed was broken, when we texted the “owner” through Airbnb chat they didn’t believe us and asked for pictures, which we sent. They said on our first night there that they were gonna send someone to fix it, but then they sent someone on our last day! (5-day stay). - We book the room for 3 people but we only had two sets of towels and one set of sheets. When we asked for the extra ones they again asked for photo proof. We were also missing and extra pillow. - The sofa bed was closed so we had to figure out how to open it and set it up. It wasn’t as simple as one could imagine, especially not having any experience with beds like this. And it was broken. - The bathroom is tiny, you can barely move in there. - The shower was very small as well and would get clogged all the time with a minimal amount of water. - TV remote control didn’t work, it wasn’t a battery problem it was the buttons that didn’t work when you pressed on them.
