Stayed at this hotel for a conference in AZ. I found the rates to be really amazing. This location is on the main strip and offers lots of local food options within two miles. The hotel is old and they have renovated the rooms with more modern furniture. However, the experience was still disappointing as the bed was uncomfortable and the rooms felt cramped. The couch, bed, and shower was tiny. I could not shower without standing diagonally under the water. The shower did have a nice shower head, but unfortunately, I just could not enjoy myself. The breakfast was not very good with very limited options. I loved the staff as they were very accommodating however, the hotel is not deserving of the Marriott name in its current state.

Chose this hotel since it is part of Marriot family. I was not impressed at all. If you just want basic stay and reasonable rate, this will suffice. But lots of issues with my room. 1. Fridge made too much noise at nite. Had to unplug it. 2. Ceiling fans in bedroom was co tripled by a ghost. Keep going from low speed to hi speed them back to low speed. 3. TV in bedroom was not plugged in, then after I plugged it it to power found out there was no cable connected either. 4. Shower is really odd and not well designed. You literally need to get into the shower to turn on the water. Then be subject to cold or hot while you are in there. 5. Outdoor pool was not looking very appealing. 6. There were guests on floor above me and ceiling is thin so heard them walking around quite a bit. I am disappointed by the property. Silver lining is that the staff were all friendly and helpful. 😀 UPDATE: I heard back from the hotel manager and they are taking my feedback seriously. Based on this, I would consider staying there again in future.

we were having a family emergency and I called to get a room and explains the emergency and was told no problem was given a room for the next three nights for about $600 on my credit card when we arrived to the motel we were told they were over booked and our room was cancelled... no help and no one cared... this is unacceptable for Marriott and made a crisis into a tragedy for us... I'm disgusted and will make sure no one i know uses Marriott ever again

So, have you ever met that person that you know is just a little too picky, something of a primodonna ? Well, that's me... funny, but true. I booked a stay at this Town Place Suites by Marriott sight unseen and at first glance I was a little skeptical. However, once I was able to see what was on offer I was pleasantly surprised. I must make special mention of Ms. Jasmine at the front desk, she was so very kind and so patient as I actually asked if she would allow me to take a look at a room before I would formally check in; and without missing a beat she locked her station and grabbed a key and off we went ... all with a smile. This hotel does not have king beds, but they do have a full kitchen, a great gym, nice TV with good channels, and the best shower I remember at a hotel in forever. This primodonna will choose this hotel again! :-)
