First let me say, manage your expectations as this is a 2/3 star hotel. For the price it’s in a good and safe location. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is plentiful with a decent variety, and offers great amenities. Their smallest room was a challenge for two ppl with 1 carryon and 2 full size luggage but it’s manageable. There is a hand held shower head, bathtub, rainfall shower and plenty of facial cleansing oil, face wash, toner and face cream. No body lotion. Also stocked with amazing shampoo, body wash and conditioner, my hair feels amazing. They also provide night gown (max size is probably size 14 CAD/USA), slippers, shoe horn, toothbrush and toothpaste, razor (no shaving cream). Overall I’d recommend if you’re on a budget, Looking just to sleep in the room, and want a quiet but accessible neighborhood. Also this was VERY clean, first time I’d ever thought about taking a bath in a hotel. Thank you staff!

Room cleaning is done on Day 4. But every day they will provide you new towels at the door. However, you need to pay 100 yen if you requested for another extra pillow. Amenities can be taken for free at the Lobby. They also have Coin Laundry though. Location is near to Kuramae Station Asakusa Line and Oedo Line.

Location couldn't be better, literally 2mins walk from the exit of subway. Rooms are small but not any different from any other hotels in Japan. They're very clean. Amenities and pyjamas can be collected at the reception area. Rooms were not serviced until after the 4th night but daily change of towels were hung outside your door knob. Bed was too firm to my liking. Staff although unable to communicate in English, they use a translation device to let you know their message. You can leave your luggage after check out but must be collected on the same day. Breakfast changes each day during our 4 nights stay and better than expected. Breakfast room can get crowded so be prepared to bring it to your room if there're no spare seats. There's laundry area on the ground floor, ¥200 for wash and ¥100 for every 10mins of drying.

Stayed 2 nights here. Ok I’m always a fan of toyoko inn in Japan, they are good value and offer breakfast . Although your room isn’t cleaned everyday, but it is fine if you aren’t messy. Room is clean here as usual. But I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast in this toyoko inn… probably one of the least favourite breakfast among the 4-5 toyoko inns I stayed at. The toyoko further down the road near asakusabashi I stayed 2 weeks ago, the breakfast was much better!!

I think this hotel chain is very good but some of the staffs are not sincere in their service. I'm a foreigner that can speak not perfect Japanese but I tried my best to talk in proper Japanese. But when I mistakenly pronounced a word, the two staffs secretly talked about my mistake. They secretly laugh on my slight mistake. It is okay if the hotel cannot provide English support but the staff must understand that Japanese is not our first language.
