Location is right in the heart of Belfast and a great choice for anyone wanting to access the main city centre and shopping. Despite the great location and lovely service at reception, the hotel is located by serval bars which are very noisy in the evenings, requiring earplugs to be worn every night. Even on the highest floors the noise can still be heard. The walls between rooms are also incredibly thin and often you can hear conversations from the room next door.

The best thing about this Travelodge is its great location. Another nice thing is the friendly reception and the cleaning staff.. About the room : The bed , chair and desk were similar to the modern Travelodge in Dublin. But this is where similarity ends: A diagonal dimly lit room , not small , three big windows inviting day light in(but we only came back to our room at night), a desk in the corner with no light above it, nowhere to put your personal belongings except for a few hangers (so we kept our stuff in our carry-ons during our 4 nights stay), clean washroom but old and worn out . Down at the reception , they could not help me with a desk lamp. In short the hotel needs renovation and/or better maintenance. No breakfast . Did I write that location was great ?

It was next to a pub that had a part till the small hours, not much that they could do about that. Then I thought that someone was trying to beat the door in at about 03:00, so I didn't get a good sleep. The room was clean, and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and got me the taxi in time for me to get my flight. As you can see they got 5 stars .
