I was put off by the bad reviews but actually had a decent experience (relative to what I paid, and I was only here one night). The staff were friendly and kind, it felt safe, the room had what I needed (good bed, warm water, hairdryer, kettle.) The negatives were that my room smelled like smoke, it was very cold at night (I slept with towels on the bed to stay warm, I couldn’t figure out how to get the heater to work), and despite having late checkout someone knocked and woke me up at the normal check out time. But the reception staff seemed very committed to improving and said they would have changed my room or helped me if I had asked them :)

We booked a standard room for two people and arguably so, it wasn’t expensive. However, what came with it was a floor length window on the ground floor that was only covered by a small curtain. I think I don’t need to mention that this was the reason it was freezing. Another window led to the hallways which was also only covered by a small curtain. The ground was dirty. The wall was dirty. The bedside table was dirty. The cooler was on - the remote control was nowhere to be found. Since our room was basically IN the reception, we were unwillingly part of conversations. The only saving grace of this rooms was the OKAY bed. So if you like to feel like you’re constantly being watched, love freezing to death at night and don’t have an issue with dirt - this is the room for you. Yours sincerely, Two dissatisfied tourists

Location was eh, usually found the prices for a taxi back at night 30-40 euros, service was just strange we had 2 rooms between 3 of us and we were all in one room and a creepy guy came to our room as soon as we entered and asked us why we were all in one room. for the rooms - our walls were thin and dirty our shower was cold, only saving grace was the beds as they were comfy. staff on the last day of our day were friendly whilst we were checking out.

Overall a great value for price and quality. We went here with almost zero expectations and it all went very smooth. Good shower, good bed, though no outside window so no airflow. Friendly staff, felt very safe in and around the hotel. Has a good connection to the city centre by tram. Only downsides might be hygiene. Some corners and places were a little dirty but nothing over the edge. I would give this 3 stars but since it's a budget hotel that gave me worth for my money it's 4. If you are able to affort something more expensive though I would suggest you do.
