We had a great experience staying here! This hotel may be basic with no frills, but it's perfect for a Disneyland visit. The proximity to the park is unbeatable, just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, which is great after a long day at the park. The staff was also attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay near Disneyland, I highly recommend the Tropicana Inn.

Excellent stay! We have been going to Disneyland since 2008 and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Being right across the street from the park entrance was awesome. It made it so much easier for our 4-year-old. The beds were comfortable. The customer service we received the 7 days we were there was great. The parking situation was always a little tight in the evening, but the hotel offered to valet for free if the parking lot was full which was very convenient. We really enjoyed the hotel pool and hot tub especially after all of that walking at Disneyland. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be staying here again.

I gave this rating 3 stars due to the small size of the rooms. The rooms have a good shower, microwave, and refrigerator. You get all you need, but the room was tiny and expensive. You're also in walking distance to Disneyland and restaurants. Unfortunately, the maids do not make the beds daily, but they do remove trash and change out towels. The customer service staff was great.

When staying right across from the Disneyland Park you have to ask yourself— what are you willing to give up? The room was clean. First bonus. But the mattress was slanted. The blanket is paper thin. There are no towel racks near the sink so you have to get creative with the closet hangers. All this I was willing to live with. But after our second sun-up to sun-down day in the Parks, all I wanted was to sleep. And from 11pm to 2am the sink drain gurgled loudly and incessantly. So I think riding a tram, train or bus to a hotel further away is worth it for a good nights sleep.
