Had a decent stay at the hotel on the 3rd floor, but as other reviewers noted — it has poor soundproofing. We could hear our next door neighbors and people in the hallways. Rooms were clean, we had a refrigerator, but no coffee maker. I had to go downstairs to the lobby several times to get a hot beverage for my throat. This hotel has a great breakfast

A big thing is the shuttle, it runs 24 hours so we were able to get the the airport at 3 am. Many hotels on Tower Rd stop their shuttle midnight to 4 am. I found this out the hard way. The Tru seems new. They have a bank of elevators so there was never a wait. Becky the bartender is very good. The rooms are a bit spartan and echos slightly. due the the plank floor. Our room was quiet, I heard nothing from outside the room.

For being associated with Hilton Hotels, I am greatly disappointed for 3 reasons. First, the staff always seemed to be too busy to answer questions unless they wanted to sell you something. Second, handicapped rooms are only available for the hearing impaired, which means no benches or chairs in the shower. The soap dispensers have to be squeezed but are difficult to use if you have arthritis. Third, there was only one unsanitized paper cup on a lower bathroom shelf next to the toilet. No ice bucket, coffee maker, cups or tea bags. No pen or note pad, or info about nearby restaurants or attractions. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was a C- at best. I have had better breakfasts at cheaper hotels. My wife and will not stay there again.

If I could give it zero stars I could! The night receptionist was the rudest, most ghetto, uneducated person I have ever encountered in customer service. I made a reservation at 1am. I arrived at 2:30am. The reception told me they had done their night audit and cancelled my reservation. This reservation was made via the Hilton app and said it was not able to be cancelled on my end. But apparently they would cancel the reservation instead of checking you in and having the key waiting as they do at other hotels. After a full hour waiting in the lobby at 4am, the snooty front desk girl was extremely rude when I asked if she made any progress. Bottom line, generally these low cost Hilton properties are fine but if something goes wrong at this one you will encounter quite possibly the worst customer service of your life. For example, this same night audit happens to me previously and they cancelled my reservation. They said I am so sorry here is a room key and no charge. This one treated me extremely poorly and let me stand in lobby for over an hour. Fire that girl. She won’t make it anywhere in life anyhow with an attitude like she has.

Location is great, rooms were decent sized and comfortable. Staff is friendly and they tried to help with the issues we experienced. We came in and it took 20 minutes to get checked in. I was told we were somehow listed as a no show even though I told someone on the phone when booking we would be 3am or after getting here. Tried calling for the shuttle when we landed at the airport and never got an answer. Had to pay for transportation but we were beyond ready to get some sleep. The hotel was over booked, so we didn’t get the room we reserved. My card was charged for the room, and another $311 for who knows what. All in all not a great experience.
