We stayed 1 night in this nice hotel during our vacation in Japan. It is a 10 minute scenic walk from the train station through the city centre avenue. Our room was spacious with private onsen. Clean and updated. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were friendly and hospitable to us western tourist. My wife wanted to experience the Japanese hot spring bath and this hotel did not disappoint. Once in a lifetime great experience for us. We had a wonderful time.

Spent one night here for our honeymoon. Our experience was just OK, nothing special and not worth the money we paid at all. We couldn’t even really use the open air bath because there were way too many spiders everywhere. We couldn’t even open the door because there was a huge web/nest which was not very inviting. I understand we’re in Hakone and there are spiders no matter what, but there should be better care of this to manage the amount of spiders collecting on the balcony over time. The all you can drink service for 70 minutes during dinner was slow - I agree with the other reviewers who said that the servers didn’t really come by to take orders, so you only really get 3 drinks which isn’t really “all you can drink”. The nozzles of the free drink machines on the upper floor were not clean. When small details such as basic pest control and the cleanliness of the shared amenities are not meticulously taken care of, it makes you question the overall cleanliness of everything else. The only positive was the food during dinner/breakfast. Sorry for the bad review but I need to be honest.

Very impressive this onsen..Warm and great service in the restaurant though the front desk seems not quite good experience. We love the waiters service in the restaurant. I’m attaching his photo hereto. Good food , well designed and authentic. Free alcohol . I can say it’s really worth our money. Although this facility is a small building, but all are great. Room a bit small but comfortable with a private onsen. Definitely we will come back again. Thank you to manage such a comfortable, great food and nice onsen. Great service in the restaurant 👍
