Tune Hotel - Danga Bay, Johor

While hotel is located strategically at Danga Bay, sad to say the room cleaning services are close to zero. 2 days in a row with the sign hung outside room to be cleaned- no effort to do so or courtesy to inform that they couldn’t! Despite the fact - front counter staff promised at 9am they will ensure it’ll be done before evening. The staff then also lies to say they called to inform us & his face changes when he doesn’t see any Tune hotel number on my phone. It’s a convenient hotel but horrible services & dreadful experience. Returned to the room at 10pm to see nothing was done! Poor management overall

stayed in for countdown 2024 from 31 december 2023 to 1 january 2024 and the experience was HORRIBLE! only managed to turn in for bed at 2am after countdown and got woken up by fire alarm at 4.25am and the alarm went off for 1 minute straight. went out to check but oddly enough, no one else was woken up by it as we were the only one out at the corridor checking if there was actual fire. went back into our room and tried to sleep but couldn’t. fire alarm went off again at 5.30am, went out to check again, same thing, we were as if the only ones who heard it. start sensing something was off and quickly got my boyfriend back into the room and stop checking out the corridor. it felt as if someone purposely set the fire alarm off so we could get out of the room for them to rob us. weirdly, no one came out to check again. fire alarm rang again for the third time at 5.59am. at this point we couldn’t bother to even get up and try to look through the peephole anymore cos we were sleep deprived with only 2 hours of sleep. couldn’t fall asleep in between all these commotions because there were banging sounds on the walls on and off and other alarm ringing sounds (not fire alarm this time) and there were sounds of people opening and closing the doors constantly. sadly we did not managed to get any words from the management. apart from that, this hotel does NOT provide BASIC TOILETRIES such as toothbrushes and toothpaste and even body wash. we thought they forgot to gave it to us and even went to the receptionist to remind them but they said they do not provide them at all unless we PURCHASE it from them?! let alone other things like tissue papers and slippers. the bed sheets also easily comes off, once u lie on it, u don’t even have to roll on the bed for the bed sheets to come off and the duvet to come off and fold. lying on the bed also made me itch everywhere, there were probably bed bugs as i have gotten more than 10 bite marks, seemingly from bed bugs on both my legs the next day. it’s my first time leaving review on google review but this hotel will be blacklisted by me and my other followers after i share about my experience online. thanks for nothing, tunes hotel
