Scam. Awful. Maps take you to valeria mansion. No one to meet you. Waited aged. Called the owners and they were apathetic. When they arrived they were nonchalant. Looked on system for booking and told us its at another location. Queried this and they told us the other location is new and not on Google yet. We walked 10min to get there. Not a good area. The new place was valeria house. They said they would upgrade the room as there was this hassle. They showed us the new room an it looked like a room we booked. I asked to see the room we would have had and they showed a tiny cramped dark space with the bed blocking the bathroom. Not a room I booked. He was on his phone and did not look too sorry. The stairs had loose carpets and the walls had mould. It was shameful. To sum it up it was a dodgy establishment that was not on Google which is a red flag. The actual place was horrid. Do not book this terrible place.

It was our first visit to Istanbul and the hotel really made it good. The hosts are super nice, always there to help you, they even showed us around where to eat, how to get to places. It’s really easy to get to the hotel from the airport, I find the public transportation sistem very easy to use. The room was awesome for us, cosy, with a balcony, someone was coming in everyday, changing the towels and making the room look brand new. The hotel is really close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and everything else, no more than 5 minutes of walking. The only downside was that across the street at the same level 4 as our room was a small shoe factory. During the week, almost all night long you could hear noises from nail guns. Other than that, everything was really good. I would totally reccomend this hotel and this is where I will stay on my next visit. :D

For the people who want to stay here! Don't be fooled by the pictures. The rooms are noting to do with the pictures. Also the owner is a liar. He promised a family room for our baby. And he gave us a different room without a baby bed. After all, he refused to give our money and told us to leave. In addition, hotel's location is another issue. It is somewhere looks like a shoe factory street. You cannot sleep because of the loudy sounds in the mornings.

I'm not sure why I'm giving it two stars, I guess because it could've been worse. Our matrass was extremely bad, and if you think you can deal with bad beds, this isnt the case. It had completely lost its shape and we were constantly on the verge of falling over. We had really hard time believing that the sheets have been washed. They had too many spots and whiteness was lost a long time ago. There was no sign of crispiness of a newly washed sheets. If they were to fix the matrass and use genuinely clean sheets, I'd give them a strong three-star review.
