Halong Bay would be beautiful... but unfortunately mass tourism is practiced here at the highest level, which unfortunately robs the trip of the atmosphere. You are surrounded by around 30-50 other large boats, and every boat rattles off the same standard program. Unfortunately, we personally don't understand why activities such as cooking class are necessary on such an excursion. In our opinion, you come to see the bay. Unfortunately, the program is not designed for this. The lounge furniture was missing cushions, it seems like the staff wasn't motivated to put them on (see photo). In addition, glasses and beer cans were still in the same place the next day as the evening before (see photo). The rooms are nice and spacious and the shower works well. There is also a small balcony. A 2d/1n tour is sold, but you are on the boat for less than 24 hours. Check-out for the room is at 9:30. We were just about to leave the room when at 9:28 there was an aggressive knock on our room door and we were rudely pushed out of the room. During the brunch that followed, the boat was refueled. It was clear that they wanted to get rid of the guests because the next guests already had to be transported through Halong Bay. The water in the bay was no longer emerald green as advertised but brown - probably due to the many ships and because the largest coal mining area in Halong appears to be being mined and this is probably polluting the water. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience for us overall and we regret that such a beautiful environment is being exploited and damaged to such an extent.

Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:40 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30. Evening activities include night fishing, spa services, drink service, or relaxation on the deck. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. The 2-night, 3-day itinerary includes the above, as well as the following: 2nd Day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, transfer to a day boat to explore the Cong Dam area’s beaches by kayak or swimming. Return to boat for set menu lunch. At 3:30 PM, return to Ancora boat and views of sunset over Halong Bay. Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:30 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30-9 PM. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9:30 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions without prior notice. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather. Guests must contact the cruise office 24 hours in advance of arrival with their passport information, birthday, and Visa expiry details to register with the Halong Bay Port Authority.
