A great hotel if you get one of the best rooms. Those on the second floor in the main building facing the river are excellent, particularly the ones on the far left and right. Great balcony, comfortable bed. Don't get one facing the street. Walk in price was considerably better than online, so if it is not a peak period pop in and see what is available without booking first. Excellent location, close to the centre of Luang Prabang. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

To rent a bicycle for 24 hours, it is 50,000 kips. Cool. But you have to give a deposit of 2 million or your passport. So dumb. It's just a bloody bicycle. I asked to speak to the manager about this dumb rule and the guy said no.

Rooms were clean, the free breakfast was basic but good. The room with a balcony and view was 350000/night. Also the showers were actually hot which was great! The area next to the river where you has breakfast had lots of plants and flowers which was nice.
