Villa Madison

I have booked this villa for a birthday celebration, but I do believe that many people would've just given up. The accomodation owner, Helena, was very difficult during the whole process of booking the place; her tone, her attitude were very weird, to say at least. I was quite frustrated because it was hard to comprehend that someone working in this domain could have this kind of attitude toward paying client. I was very patient in the communication with her, and when she asked for the rest of the money the very day of the check in(, which I was notified about at 14:00 exactly, she said I should bring cash at 16:00 and give the money to the staff) I told her that I was busy organizing everything and that I am not in a position to search for the ATM, that I will transfer the money online, which I have done already sending the deposit week before, and she made a problem out of it, insisting I bring the cash!! Also, I have to mention that I absolutely overpaid our stay(1.007,00€!! for one night)not to mention we didn't even sleep there (out of 4apartments reserved, only one was used) and no price reduction was offered considering the fact I reserved the place directly. Multiple times she mentioned that we were surveilled by the cameras, to which I responded that she has no reason to worry that we are all working moms requiering just a nice, relaxing time at the pool to which she did not change her attitude at all. She mentioned that at the site will be some kind of security, checking the IDs of every person coming and going, which was another way of her letting me know that her villa is special, 5* luxury place. Which was not, if I may add, and no security checking the names was there. This was just one more thing she was doing to make me feel very uncomfortable. she absolutely ruined the feeling for me, and instead feeling happy that day, by 15:00 when I came to the house for the check in, I felt exhausted and really just wondering why did I even book this place. Also, the deposit was non refundable, and she called me to move my car from the front entrance although it didn't block anyone or anything considering the fact I booked the whole house. (a lot of stuff for the party was in the car, but she insisted sending me texts and ultimately calling me when I didn't respond) Our stay was ok (the pool area and the room we used), and she offered to stay at the pool the next day(because I told her at one point that the way she talks to me was unacceptable), but we kindly refused. Also, except the pool area which was 5* feel, everything else did not feel that way.

Not what was arranged via booking..Helena gave me and my 2 children one room studio on 3rd floor although we reserved 2 badroom appartment on 2nd floor. She gave some vague rxscuse but insisted to bill as for 2n floor app with 2 bedrooms. So, my daughtrr slept on an very outdayed sofa not good for the spine at all. Instead of proper stove with 4 cooking spots there was only 2 and no kitchen air ventilation For these she insisted on paying 510 eur for 2 nights which is very root and not on booking price at all. I would never ever come again with my kids. Helena also make very strange rules that are not the same for every guest. Very root. I never ever felt do not welcome. Poll temperature ice cold, we get cold. She send her pool boy almost 1 minute after entering room for full payment. I never see anything like this in my whole life! Thank you Helena
