We have just spent three wonderful days at Villa Mer Vue. After travelling around Sri Lanka for three weeks, staying at the best of hotels and resorts, I have to say that Villa Mer Vue has been the highlight of our trip. The accommodation is fabulous, with three bedrooms overlooking the ocean, each with their own bathroom. A full kitchen and immaculate pool. There is in-house catering with a varied menu and the staff have been brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. And to cap it all off, one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka is right at your doorstep and you can watch marvellous sunsets over the ocean. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

manger is a choleric man. nearly all pillows have mold. Dirty smelly bathrooms, food not okay, service barely speaks english. This is not what you can expect for your money. We left earlier. This is Scam

Me and my family had a 7 night stay 2 weeks ago. Everything was absolutely amazing. The villa has a beautiful beach view and it is very calm and quiet place ideal for family with children and friends. It is very clean and well maintained. The internet was free and for us this was a big plus because we was able to spend the holidays and to resolve some work issues too. Has a great beach where kids have more than enough space to play and run. It’s like a private beach, only for us. The private pool completed the days when the sea was to turbulent. The children felt very good and were very happy. At the end of our stay they made us promise to come back in 6 months because it was the most beautiful vacation ever. Great value for money and definitely in our plans for a return visit. The greatest experience. Thank you Kumara, by far the best driver. Highly recommended. Thanks Udith and team.

Rented both villas for 2 nights @ a rate of LKR 120,000/ night Great staff, great location. Photos are a bit misleading but not too bad. The wifi did not work despite (informing and being told multiple times it’s fixed) Tv remote didn’t work We had a power cut on day 1 which we informed the owners and were told was fixed but same happened on day 2 as well. So one portion of the house on both nights were on a blackout. At this price range would’ve expected atleast a backup generator The food was very average and we found out they just purchase food from a shop across the road. Again, this would be fine but not at this cost. All the service staff however were very attentive and kind. Specially dinesh which is the only reason I’m rating it 3 instead of 2.
