Villa-serenity

If you read no other review, make sure it's this one. When you travel around the world, you always hope to have a good experience where you stay. While in Sri Lanka, I decided to stay in Villa Serenity in Weligama. I planned to stay just 4 days. I ended up staying for almost 2 weeks because of this incredible family and their amazing accommodation. First of all, this villa is beautiful and peaceful, and the wifi is great. It's set about 5 minutes from everything. You can go to Marissa Beach and Ahangama town. There are transportations everywhere but you get to restore and breathe when you stay here. The son, mom, and dad take care of this villa. They have multiple rooms filled with ACs or fans, a kitchen so you can cook, a fridge. You can share all of these things with other guests, depending on your budget. The son also has a tuk tuk and can take you anywhere you'd like. They also rent out bikes if you need it. He knows everything and everyone and will take care of you. He and his whole family are so kind. As a solo female traveler, safety is important, and I was so safe here I just kept extending my stay. I fell in love with his parents. His mom became my mom. While in Sri Lanka, I mostly ate vegan, and she cooked me the best meals. No one does better curry than this woman. She is phenomenal. I cried like a baby leaving this villa. It was the best stay I had I in Sri Lanka. I will miss them so much and I highly recommend staying here. This is the best place to stay in the south.
