The location is good on the main artery going into Bristol but can get so busy to get in and out. The rooms are lovely with a generous shower room I didn't stay overnight so cant comment on sound . Service in the bar was ok just little or none in terms of welcoming but the setting and layout was awesome . They have the village gym there too but never had look. Parking is plenty and free for 4 hours then you have to pay unless staying in the hotel.

Practical & excellent service. The hotel is right in the middle of a growing business area in North Bristol, very convenient for business trips. It’s not high-end luxury but it’s practical and has an outstanding gym. Particularly remarkable is the restaurant & pub staff, who will remember you and your food & drink choices once you have been here a couple of times: special kudos to Kieran & Natalie!

I don’t know where to start with this hotel. And I am wondering what annoys me the most. Probably the value for money. I paid £158 a night for a midweek stay and I have to say this place was terrible. The room they gave me had stains on the carpet, the fabric of the little chair by the desk was all stained and the bed was super soft and curved inwards. Definitely overdue a mattress change. The room was a wheelchair accessible room which in itself isn’t an issue but it was just designed awfully. The sink was super low (understandably) but it was also tiny. Just about big enough to wash your hands. No space to store anything and when I washed my face half the bathroom floor was wet. The mirror was badly lit which meant it was a bit tricky to put on make up. The ironing board was broken and there wasn’t even a plug nearby to plug in the ironing board to use it. I could also hear every word that was spoken in the room next door which means insulation isn’t really a thing. Also when checking in the process wasn’t straight forward and I needed to give a £1 deposit. No idea what that is for and why £1? It makes no sense to me. Finally the restaurant was also really substandard. The amount of gluten free options was shockingly low/next to none which left me with a dry burger without a bun. I was also made to sign a little piece of paper (to waive my rights to sue them if they mess up). I’ve rarely felt less welcome. 2 stars though because at least I didn’t get bed bugs 😉

We came to Village Hotel pub and grill to watch a football match and have some food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Service was quick even though it was super busy! There are multiple big screens showing sports, so wherever you're sitting, you get a good view, even when busy. The food was reasonably priced and huge portions. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening out here!

Stayed here for 2 nights just before New Year. The hotel itself was nice, Starbucks at the entrance, gym, and pool. The hotel bar was nice spaced out. Big TV in the main area at the front with the dining tables at the back. Had food here on the second night and was really good. Shopping centre was about 7 minutes drive with loads of shops and food places. Wanted to try the pool but never got around to it. Will stay here again. The pool was £5.00 per room when we booked but never used it.
