Friendly staff, comfortable beds and a good proximity to my reason for visiting Florence, this is a generally good b&b. The single room did mean having no en suite but the bathroom up one flight of stairs was not shared. Breakfast is a simple buffet but is excellent and convenient, and the surrounding area has plenty of venues for lunch and dinner. The b&b is located approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the centre of town but a bus does run from around the corner.

Small B&B just outside the center of Florence, still reachable in 10 minutes on foot. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, the buffet breakfast in the small common room is quite varied and the desserts in particular are very good. The only flaw is the air conditioning in the room: it is not possible to regulate the temperature, but only set it on/off. The owner is very kind and courteous. Definitely affordable prices, recommended.

The only drawback is the very noisy air conditioner. So, if it’s summer, then it’s either a little hot at night or a little noisy.. As a way out, you have to be really tired during the day so as not to notice its sound (which is not difficult in Florence, because there’s so much you want to see :-) ) First of all, an incredible plus is the room itself (we were lucky to live in one with carved furniture - that’s something!). Breakfast is good. Having your own parking, although paid, is ideal for Florence. Upon arrival, we were told everything we needed: where are the supermarkets, where are the cafes and restaurants (3 out of 7 were tested and approved)). A little far from the center if you walk, but that’s how it was intended. Overall - only positive memories!
