Big , color coordinated rooms/apartments (we had two) with a full kitchen. The location was amazing. 100m from many of the main sights. Despite this it was quiet during the night. I would book Vivacity again.

Good value hotel in the middle of Porto‘s bustling central. Just a few steps away from Livraria Lello and great places to go out. Its price is moderate and there is even a rudimentary breakfast included. What’s another big upside is its proximity to the bus station which connects you directly to the airport, no bus change required! I would stay here anytime again 😊

Total mixed bag here. Clean room and good location. However, I’m actually laying in bed here right now at 1:40 am and there is singing happening at a restaurant next door (I’m the back side) and I can hear every word of it. Twenty minutes ago, a large group come in through the stairwell making a lot of noise and I could hear all of that as well. Finally, the apartment is definitely showing wear and tear. You can see paint chips and water damage (one of the bathroom sinks had a huge puddle under it when I checked in and leaked into a bucket the entire time. I notified them but also said it wasn’t a big deal since there was another sink and hopefully they’ll deal with it when I leave. But the take home here is that you could tell the water has leaked before and warped the floor). There’s rust on the light fixtures in the bathroom. Small things like that to show wear even though overall, the apartment looks nice and feels clean (no weird smells, no bigger defects). There is AC in the bedrooms but not common space and there is a good lift. The lights in the stairwell are weird though and don’t stay on long so I sometimes found myself walking up or down and feeling along the wall for the next light switch. Staff was very kind and informative at check-in. In all, it’s decent but definitely did not have a 4 star feel. I don’t know if I would stay again simply due to the noise from surrounding restaurants (not the hotel’s fault but still relevant).

We had a wonderful experience staying at VivaCity in Porto, Portugal. The hotel is in an excellent, convenient location, right in the middle of the old town. Our room was clean and large. The building is newly remodeled and of good quality. A big thank-you to Victor, the manager of the hotel. The airline lost two pieces of our luggage. He helped me call the Airline every morning for 2 days. He also helped me book the On-and-Off Bus as well as purchase bus tickets to nearby Sintra, another interesting city. We appreciate him very much. Porto is a wonderful city to visit. Staying in the right hotel made the visit even better. Thanks for all the things you did for us! We appreciate you very much!!
