Would not recommend anyone staying here. The design of the rooms is okay, however the cleanliness of the room and smell in the bathroom could have been better. The overall maintenance of the facility could have been better. The service is slow in the restaurant and the DJ is playing loud music all evenings until 11 pm (nice if you’re out for great vibe, not if you want to sleep). The pool looks dirty. The only good thing is the location, close to the beach.

Only came for the Hippie Market on Saturday Nov 25th. Cute set up but the prices for items were quite expensive. The cocktail were nice. Great selection of different musicians.

A wonderful hotel, great stuff. Best VFM I had in a long time. The hotel in small and intimate with great ocean view. The pool is the nicest pool in Weligama, right on the beach. Moreover, you can have breakfast (or any meal) in a very reasonable price, a few meters from the water. The only one bad thing I can say is that there is some music by the pool from the afternoon, that might be a bit loud, though when asking, they do reducing the volume.

My experience at W15 Weligama Hotel was primarily centered around their delightful culinary offerings, although I didn't stay there. The hotel provided a welcome alternative to the neighboring Marriott, whose food prices left much to be desired. The staff at W15 Weligama, however, were a breath of fresh air with their exceptional friendliness and warmth. Throughout my visits, I found the food to be a good and delicious, and the quality was evident in every dish. The reasonably priced menu allowed me to indulge without breaking the bank, which was a refreshing change from the neighboring Marriott cuisine options. The drinks, too, were well-crafted and fairly priced. The only aspect that dampened my experience was the presence of stray dogs and cats. While this might be a common issue in the area and not the hotels fault, I hope the hotel could find a way to manage this concern. In summary, W15 Weligama Hotel is a hidden gem for reasonably priced food and looking to escape the exorbitant prices of nearby alternatives. The staff's kindness and good food make it a wonderful choice for dining.
