Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Rooms were small, but nicely decorated. I’m guessing at this price range, the size is pretty standard. However, the heat stopped working, and it wasn’t something they could fix right away. They said they could look to see if another room was available to move, but it was 9 pm and we were checking out the next morning so we just accepted their offer to bring some space heaters up. Service was pretty nice, but I did contact them before my stay to see if they could have a bottle of sparkling juice with some glasses to surprise my partner, but there were just bottles of water (I think sparkling and still) that were just part of the mini bar. No specific glasses to pour them into (besides the glass cups in the bathroom). Location is pretty great. We ended up shopping a lot around SoHo, we had a couple of meals in the West Village, and went to the Comedy Cellar. Obviously, the location worked out great for all of that. Easy access to subways to take you uptown from Union Square.

I booked this hotel through a 3rd party and thought I’d booked a queen, only to arrive and find out I booked “a queen or 2 doubles”. My husband is 6’3 and can not fit in a double bed. I asked Rosa at the front desk to please help and she advocated for us and worked magic to change our room from a double to queen. Thank you so much Rosa! You were so helpful and fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, lots of exposed brick with a great cozy lobby. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet. The bathroom was modern with a big shower with a high shower head. Had a great time

Charge four star and provide 2 star. Facility fee for mini bar which was a first for me; hotel restaurant was booked out with private functions a few times. Only stay if you're getting a great rate! Location is outstanding

This might be our favourite hotel stay yet! The Walker is situated away from the usual chaos in Manhattan. It sits perfectly in the West Village with quick access to three subway stations and a stone's through from the gorgeous Greenwich Village; bonus - Murray's Bagels is right around the corner. The rooms are beautiful, a great size for NY standards, and extremely clean. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, Tyler even gave us some great restaurant recommendations, we loved it so much that we went back a couple of times for different meals. The gorgeous fireplace and immaculately decorated lobby were such a joy to come back to after a long day of walking in the cold. Would definitely recommend.

great place for a romantic date. My husband and I cannot leave our children for more than a day. but this was enough for us to rest here. The hotel and restaurant staff were polite. The double room is not the smallest. it was very quiet and clean. interesting interior 👌 delicious and almost gourmet breakfast. excellent location in our favorite area of the city 👍 we will be happy to stay here again 🫶
