This location is about a 15-minute walk to downtown Dublin and is in the nice, quiet community of Ballsbridge. Breakfasts at the Lodge were excellent and offered several options from a full Irish breakfast to porridge, fresh fruit and cereals. The hosts were most helpful in pointing out where laundry could be done and which restaurants to pursue. We would highly recommend this Lodge.

Convenient hotel for an event I was attending. Shops and restaurants nearby. A little quirky: good Internet but nowhere to work (no desk or table space); comfy bed but little soundproofing; full size kettle but paper cups; plenty of hot water but teeny shower cubicle; efficient heating. Be aware there are about 10 steps up to front door from street and no lift inside the building. Allergy note: the cleaning products? Used in this hotel have strong fragrance, too much for me.

A very positive hotel experience! The place is not far from the center of Dublin, which can be reached with several bus lines: in fact, there is a stop right outside the front door. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to give advice or support with a smile. 😁 The rooms are small but comfortable, always clean, with some useful items (for example, kettle and hairdryer). There are also useful services such as WiFi and a parking area. Talking about breakfast, there is the chance to choose an Irish breakfast or a continental one: the first is delicious!! 🤩
