Breakfast was delicious and well enough. Eric, the host, bakes the bread and makes the yogurt himself. These homemade meals are especially delicious. The accommodation is equidistant from the old town and the European district. About 20 minutes to walk if you don't get on a bus or subway. I highly recommend you stay here, you will feel yourself very calm.

Our retreat while exploring Belgium, stayed 4 nights, as very close to metro or tramway to get to train station where you can catch a train for a day trip to Bruges or Ghent. Host is very friendly, and so are his two cats. Enjoyed each morning breakfast made of home made bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, and cold meat and cheese plate, with good selection of tasty hams. Just note it's an old house, and you have to choose between a room with shower but toilet outside down the hall (our room), or one without either but toilet/shower room is directly opposite. I think next time we'd choose the latter as less to travel for a quick visit to the loo :) Minifridge in the room and powerful fan was provided, and had good sleep thanks to venitian blinds and blackout curtains.
