Loved our stay at this heritage home. Coming from Malaysia, we enjoyed the architecture and interiors that were fashioned as an old English home. From our family room the view of Bath was wonderful. The hotel was cosy and warm and a good place to turn in for the night. The two gentlemen in charge - Danny and Gurleen - were friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The English breakfast was yummy!

Good place to rest your head. Reasonably priced, about 20 mins from the edge of the Bath Centre if you're walking. Good parking which is free. We were well received and given advice on the best way in and out of bath. We had a few minor picky issues. Tile grout a badly stained in the bathroom, and the shower constantly leaked on the bathroom floor, so we did keep showers short and sweet. Our room did smell a little damp and there was an usual hum like a fan that we could hear all night. But....if you are heavy sleeper...then for it.

This was a descent location with a 15 min walk to city centre. Problem though was the bed had bed bugs, mattress was horrible and should have been thrown out and the room temperature was terribly hot with no was to cool it down. Within an hour of checking in we had to leave it was so bad. With bed bugs we did not want another room. Yuck! The management now will not talk to us and refuses to refund our 3 nights we paid for. Don’t risk staying here.

Hair dryer broken, shower had very low water pressure and was cold, room is worn down and would greatly benefit from an upgrade. Receptions unfriendly - didn‘t want to store my bag for even a couple of hours in his hotel. Poor service. Not good value for money. Try to avoid if you can! This hotel seems to live from visitors who couldn’t find accommodation elsewhere in the city.
