A very cheap basic apartment for those who are looking to stay somewhere close to Shilin Market or surrounds. For $40 a night between 2 don't expect anything more. Appropriate for 1-2 night stay, nothing long term. An adequate sized room enough for 2 people. Very small bathroom with shower head attached to wall next to the toilet. Can be a pain as the floor will be always wet after the shower and there seems to be no cleaners that come in to replace towels/clean floors. Working mini fridge in room. There seems to be people smoking in the room next to us even though it is clearly signed as a no smoking zone. No reception desk therefore no staff around to flag issues to. Has both a fan and aircon. Would only stay here for one night or when in need of desperate accommodation. Good thing it's close to Shilin Market and the train station.

Actually a nice hotel/motel in the middle of no where! Wonderful affordable clean place if your in the area near Shilin Night Market. Easy in/out hassle free just for the extra one night layover or an place you need to just sleep and stay for the night! Nothing fancy though very simple but clean place. *Note need more signage in the front door very easy to miss since the entrance looks just like any other housing in the area! :)

I went few years ago (sep 2015) and if I ever go back to Taipei, I will go back to this place. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, it had everything you would need. Even the tea and coffee. I went there very late after a really, really bad day, I remember it was 3am more or less and it was supposed that it was already closed, but, thank goodness, the guy who was working there saw me when he was leaving the hotel after being overworking. He was ready to drive his motorcycle. I was carrying my big suitcase in the middle of the night and he opened again just for me, to help me. I didn't even had to worry about paying that night until the next morning. He wanted me to rest. I will always be thankful to that guy who was like an angel to me. I wish I could find him to tell him thank you. I didn't see him again after that. Don't hesitate, stay there! It close to the night market and mine was a very quite room. Simply perfect.
