I've been in so many campsites in my life, but never, ever come across a site and owner like (Andrew). I got the warmest of welcomes from Andrew and his brown labs. The reception room is so cosy. It's like getting a warm hug when you enter, with the log fire, tartan covers, and stags. The room was gorgeous with great mattress and covers. A lovely clean showeroom with a good shower/toilet. The room was really clean, and again, I used the word cosy,but it's just feeling I got everywhere I went. You won't believe it, but folk who are 'full time van lifers' get to stay for FREE wow, but that's not all. They also get free the use of a hot shower and FREE breakfast. It would be courteous to leave a donation to help towards the upkeep. If I'd known about this before, I would certainly come here camping. The surroundings are just stunning, even in winter, I'll be back when it gets warmer with my tent, and I'll see it differently when everything starts to bloom. There's Shepherd's huts and bell tents for hire as well. The prices are very good, and dogs get for free. It's very dog friendly. In the better weather, they have campfires where anyone with a musical instrument or not is more than welcome to join in the fun under the stars. It's a very laid-back atmosphere here that adds to the whole experience. I will certainly be back and can't recommend it highly enough. I came home feeling so refreshed and full of vigour.

One of the best places I have stayed at within driving distance to Glasgow. The owner is amazing very helpful and talkative. Was amazing staying here would recommend this place. The chef was amazing helped very much with my food as I am a very picky eater.

Disappointing Experience at the West Highland Way Hotel During my recent stay at the West Highland Way Hotel, I had a highly disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, it became apparent that the hotel was not up to the expected standards. The first issue I encountered was the state of the facilities. To my dismay, several toilets were broken and out of order, leaving very limited options for guests. Additionally, the lack of hand wash facilities was not only unhygienic but also unacceptable in a hotel environment. Furthermore, an unpleasant problem I faced was the presence of foul odors throughout the property. The smell of feces was pervasive, leaving me uncomfortable and dissatisfied. It was disappointing to see that this issue had not been properly addressed by the staff. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the deceptive behavior of the owner, Andrew. He repeatedly provided misinformation and lied about various matters, which greatly diminished my trust in the establishment. This lack of transparency and honesty is highly concerning, and it significantly impacted my overall experience. Considering the aforementioned issues, I strongly advise avoiding the West Highland Way Hotel. The lack of proper maintenance, unsanitary conditions, and dishonesty exhibited by the owner make this establishment far from desirable. There are several other accommodation options in the area that are likely to provide a more pleasant and enjoyable stay. I hope this review sheds light on my unfortunate experience and encourages necessary improvements at the West Highland Way Hotel, ensuring a more satisfactory stay for future guests.
