Westward Look hotel is one beautiful place to stay. And, with the fact that its rooms are split apart, two-by-two, in separate bungalows, makes it all the better and quieter. As you can see from the photo’s the grounds are beautiful (even the Men’s bathroom is beautiful, not to mention that it was the warmest place on a coldish day). I didn’’t post a photo of the convention room I sat in for my seminar, but even that was clean and sharp. And, the servers for the buffet breakfast were all polite and helpful. It’s also beautiful on the inside of the lobby as the photo shows. I haven’t stayed in the Rooms themselves for several years, so I don’t know about the inside of the rooms … but when I was there in 2015 (before the recent remodel) the rooms were well appointed. If I were to have a choice of where to stay in Tucson, it would be the Westward Look. Hands down.

This is a beautifully remodeled resort. It has good views of the nearby Catalina mountains, and is quiet. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is it. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well decorated, with a comfortable bed and roomy bathroom.

Had lunch at the outlook. Grilled cheese was excellent but tomatoes bisque was watery and very bland. My daughter ordered a vegetarian dish and enjoyed it also. Good portions. Our server was incredible. Very resourceful and experienced with a great personality and willingness to please customers. The outdoor views were very nice with pretty good atmosphere. The garden trail is very nice as well. Enjoy walking on the premises with nicely designed AZ flora. A genuinely good time with my daughter on a beautiful sunny day. Enjoy!

When choosing our Tucson stay many factors were Considered; Safety, Cleanliness and location in proximity to our event was priority. Given my main concerns I did extend the distance to venue and could’ve had the same level of safety and & cleanliness if I had stayed at any 1 Star Motel… atrocious is the only word I can find even remotely fitting. From no access to control the thermostat in the room and door that can give anyone outside a view of the bed let alone access kept me frozen and in fear. The inability to maintain and regulate heat quickly became a factor in my disability and spent so much time “warming up” in my car via heated seats. For the price of the stay our entire front door could’ve not only been properly fixed but prevented the frigid breeze. This is NOT high end… This is NOT is not a Disability Friendly location… This is NOT a safe place to stay… and Management’s approach to rectify anything, per Diane will contact me at their convenience…

Upon check in, we were given a disability room which was not disclosed. Unsatisfied we requested a different room the next day. Debbie from the front desk said there were no rooms available. We decided to check out but another staff named Ava was able to find a different room with a view. In our stay, we hauled our luggages to 3 different rooms three times. Then my daughter started itching during our stay which got worst when we got home . She had a full blown rash/ infection on her face and had to be seen by 4 doctors. I emailed 2 supervisors and did not get any response . This is the first time this has ever happened to us and now she’s on both antiviral and antibiotics to combat this severe infection. The property is dated , the sheets were worn out. I would not stay here again.
