Rooms were not as depicted in the photo. In reality, it was more run down. The beds were super uncomfortable. Bed frames made squeaky noises throughout the night. The mattress was sagging in the middle. Room carpets were not vacuumed thoroughly. Bathroom situation: The sink is installed really low. I had to bend and lower my head under the amenities tray to wash face/ rinse mouth. No trays for shampoo and soap in the shower room, which means we could only place them on the floor. Not ideal for elderlies who cannot bend/ squat. Soundproofing of the room was really bad. We could hear every conversation from the streets and neighbours ! Also, the garbage collection in the early morning was very audible. I didn't sleep much at all throughout my 2 night stay.

When I read the comments I was a bit scared, however I enjoyed staying here. The place was clean. Staff was not rude at all, like some comments mentioned. Location is great, tons of trendy cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Rooms on the smaller side, but overall a great stay!

Better avoid if possible. The area is great and the room size is decent for Paris standards, but everything else is a disaster. The room had a strong sewage smell that won’t go away, a few door handles were falling off and the general shabbiness was a strong characteristic of the room. It was also very noisy. Stuff at the reception was not friendly at best and borderline rude. They won’t even give me initial directions how to get to the room and did not say a good bye at checkout. In addition to that they stick to medieval practice of leaving the room keys at the reception when leaving the building. In general, avoid, avoid, avoid and book something else in the area.
