It is only 20 min walk from Taksim Square and 35 min walk from Blue Mosque. The view of the hotel is impressive. You don't need to stay at the panoramic-view room. The hotel has a rooftop with incredible views. The breakfast was good. The staff very kind and helpful. Thank you.

Delightful hotel in a quiet area yet close enough to where you might want to go. It’s definitely a boutique property, the rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable. Friendly and professional staff. The rooftop view is an added bonus, as was the outlook from our small balcony. One tiny negative would be with the bathroom fixtures, particularly the tapware, which I believe could do with a re-think at the next update or sooner. We were unable to cool the room to a comfortable or sleeping temperature without opening a window. The T1 light rail stop is a short walk down the hill and will take you to historic Sultanahmet sites, while a 10-minute stroll up to the buzzing Taksim district is highly advised. Nice cafes and restaurants very close by to the hotel and the beautiful Cukurcuma Hamami as well. Glad we read other reviews about the Witt, it didn’t disappoint.

This hotel is one of the nicer accommodations I've ever stayed in. Luxurious rainwater shower feature and gorgeous views of the Bosphorus. The surrounding neighborhood is full of restaurants, coffeeshops, and vintage stores. Only precaution is for those travelers with disabilities. This hotel is located on a very steep street and has limited accessibility for those with any kind of mobility impairment.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. We booked a king panoramic room and the views were excellent. The service at the hotel was excellent especially the breakfast staff who took care of you. Yeah as everyone talks about the steep hill up to the hotel was tiring but took taxis up after a couple of days. The location is very good and the tram station just down the hill. Overall a good stay for a city break. Definitely recommend

My initial room faced another hotel building, so I upgraded to the Panoramic penthouse king room. Anil, from reception, very graciously arranged a discounted rate. The view from room 62 was unbelievably dreamy. The entire Old City skyline , the Marmara, the Bosphorus and from the 'new' city, the Galata Tower. I sat on the modern rocking chairs and just stared at the view whenever I was in the room. I slept with the curtains open! The breakfast is a lovely little buffet of whatever you could need, including the best Acuka imaginable. They also make hot brekkies. The staff were all excellent. The room was always exceptionally clean. I would stay here again, even faced with the steep climb from Tophane tram to the hotel. It's intense, but the view made up for it for sure!!! Thanks Witt Hotel staff!
