Very good location, but very noisy at night during the weekends. The bed is big and amazing. Would be nice to have received a new water bottle every day.

Avoid, avoid avoid! Avoid this place! There is no customer support after 23:30hrs, which means that you are on your own if anything goes wrong during the night. In my experience, there was a massive party at 2am on Monday morning. I tried contacting management but did not get any response until 8am since they don’t provide any guest support during the night. The noise from other rooms was so loud you cannot sleep. There was dancing, tapping, music, moaning, etc. Chueca is a party neighborhood but in 15 years of going to Madrid I have never experienced something like this. I tried telling the people in the room next to me to keep it down which resulted in them hitting the wall, going to the balcony and being loud. Management didn’t do anything cause they cannot be contacted. This is plain wrong, they should have an emergency contact number so guests can reach out to them. As a guest, we pay for a place to sleep and if the location does not offer it, then the service has not been met. With over 400 reviews, I can easily say this is one of the worse experiences in many years. Totally regrettable and unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Enjoyed my stay very much! I had room #6 - called “Notting Hill” which is marketed as a Junior Suite, but it was a standard room with en-suite bathroom. Comfortable, big bed, and a good-sized wardrobe in the bedroom. Freshly remodeled , sizeable bathroom with enough countertop space for cosmetics, and it also had a makeup mirror. The towels provided were big and nice quality, very soft. Air conditioning in the room is great. The staff in the reception is always helpful and with a smile on their faces. The only thing I would change is that my room, #6, was pretty much windowless and completely without sunlight. There was one tiny window but it opened to a narrow and dark utility shaft, therefore there was no natural light at all in the room. As of November 2022, I found the nightly rate I paid (mid-week) of €76 to be a very good value! All in all - would highly recommend!

We were skeptical of the experience because of the lower price. But we were absolutely happy and would book again in a minute. the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom and shower were generously spaced. Cold AC. We were greeted warmly by the front desk, made to feel very welcome. The neighborhood is FANTASTIC, Chueca is alive and not touristy, fantastic food, bars, walk everywhere. We did not feel the street was loud at all (we were in room #1 on a Wed in May). This feels more like a boutique hotel, not a hostel. Our room was ready early. They offer free bottled water which is an extra, we had one at checkin. but there were none in the cooler when we went to get one before bed and no one around since it is not fully staffed like a traditional hotel. Only other challenge is to be sure you have euro coins so you can get your coffee in the morning. Great espresso machine but we did not have change so couldn't get our coffee in the morning before our flight at 6am. Wifi worked great. If I visit Madrid again, Chueca will be my destination and I trust Woohoo now, and they have several locations.

Nice clean room, with a lovely modern bathroom included. A/C is included which is a nice addition. Few downfalls. Room doors are paper thin, which makes it feel like privacy is slightly diminished. In addition our room - think it was 4 - is so close to their reception area it means you have someone able to hear you all day and vice versa. I really think this place could modernise its system so there isn’t a need for a receptionist but maybe that’s just me. Lovely interactions with all staff nevertheless. The room we were in had some damage to it’s wall, think it may be due to a leaking shower. Didn’t impact our stay. This room also had a balcony but it was to an interior courtyard. Again, slightly disappointing but probably for the best as I hear external balconies are impacted by noise on some nights. Overall I would probably stay again as good value.
