Came for a quick solo trip to San Diego and was pleasantly surprised at the aesthetic and service at this hotel (especially given the price). I was greeted by a helpful concierge who gave me useful information and coupons for local restaurants; my room was well-appointed; front desk staff was very helpful; and even with parking (at $25/night, guarded 24/7) it was the best priced hotel around. Location was great too, easily walkable to Balboa park even at nighttime. Thanks to all who helped me have a great stay!

If it's a hotel, then it's only a 3 star, not what I've seen online of 4 star from reviews. The amenities are limited - no restaurant on-site - walk was 10 minutes to any restaurants other than McDonald's; room was fine, they don't make up rooms - only if you've stayed 5 days or longer; elevator is noisy, nice roof top, no pool or hot tub. Service at front desk and front door was good though.

Enjoyed a two night stay here in December 2023. Wonderful check in experience, room was nice, liked that you can open the windows for some fresh, cool San Diego air. Very close to the highway, but noise didn't bother us, quiet hallways from about 10pm till 8am. We didn't park onsite, parking lot did fill up on Sunday-so you might have to make other plans. Walked from here to Balboa Park (close!), Mr. A's (30 min walk but doable in flat shoes:), Midway Museum, and good coffee and breakfast. There were a few blocked sidewalks across the street but we mostly felt pretty safe, even at night. I recommend! Worldmark does what it can to keep its property safe and clean and there was constant security/staff at the front door and lobby every time we came in and out.
