Everything was booked in the center because of a conference, so I had to find a spot a bit further. It's on a hill overlooking the city. There is a nice garden and a patio for hanging out, drinking or eating. They propose an evening meal that is good. The room was ok, though a bit noisy. I did not try the breakfast. There's not a lot to do around, so you'll have to take a taxi if you want to go out. But it's good value for the money, and the guesthouse is well-run and nicely decorated.

I stayed 7 night at Yambi and it has been a amazing experience. The staff is incredible, the room are fine, nice garden, delicious food .. I recommended for any one who comes to Kigali!!

Had a great time at Yambi. The garden is beautiful and relaxing- I would sit and read there for hours. The breakfast was always fresh and great and the staff friendly and willing to help. One thing to note is that it is not close to the attractions but the good thing is that you can catch a moto affordably. It is close to the shops. Would definitely stay again

DONT GO THERE. When we arrived the receptionist asked us to pay 20$ more than the booking reservation. It didn't included the breakfast. So we had to pay for it, and again they charged us for the 20$ breakfast while we chose the 14$ option. They are not honest people. They are better options in Kigali, with kind and honest hosts + with a central location. Look at Inzozi guesthouse. Safe travels x
