YOLO Bangkok Boutique Hotel

Room is very cozy and spacious. Have big bathtub in the room. Just need to be careful not to splash water on the floor. Shower room is small that it makes me feel claustrophobic and the toilet is open, no doors at all! If you are with a friend, they might need to wait in the lobby while you do your business lol Ive been in this hotel twice. The first time the lady who checked me in was very friendly and cute. The 2nd time was no one at the reception, i had to call the number they left on the front desk and the person instructed me to get my keycard in the small basket on the table. In the basket there are 2-3 keycards more. This feels unsafe. People can just grab a keycard bcuz there is no staff. This hotel room is very nice, clean and cozy. I just wish they would focus also on the service and security.

PROs: The rooms were impeccably clean, providing a comfortable environment. The spacious bath tub was a pleasant surprise, allowing for a relaxing soak. The shampoo and body wash provided had a pleasant fragrance, enhancing the overall experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the coffee offered. The hotel's location near Nana Chard Pier was incredibly convenient, offering easy access to boats heading to Platinum. What impressed me further was the abundance of restaurants open even after midnight in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel vibes feels like we are in Bali. CONs: Safety was a major concern, as there were no staff members present at 9pm, allowing anyone to enter and access the rooms walkway. The staff's lack of friendliness, unhelpfulness, and limited knowledge. The room itself was very clean but there is a strong sewage odor and a noisy air conditioning unit definitely not for the light sleeper. The bathtub cover had a dangerous rusty hook, posing a serious hazard & the water gets choke and can't drain fully so need help from the housekeeping. The thin blanket provided offered minimal comfort. TV channels were exclusively in Chinese. As a guest, I would have appreciated having a more diverse selection of channels in different languages to cater to a wider range of preferences. The hairdryer and kettle provided by hotel cannot be use in the hotel room unless you have your own adaptor. The property only had stairs, making it inconvenient and unsuitable for elderly guests or those with mobility challenges. Our room have a separate toilet and shower with a swing door that could only close one of the doors at a time. This design choice was a bit inconvenient, as it limited the ability to fully enclose the area when desired not recommended for family.
