YOUROPO - Flores

A holiday apartment in the heart of Porto WHAT WE LIKED: This spacious two-story apartment offered not only a comfortable haven but also a superb location that made exploring this vibrant city an absolute breeze. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. The check-out experience was equally effortless, allowing me to make the most of my final moments in this captivating city. The apartment's prime location turned out to be one of its standout features. Nestled within walking distance of both the picturesque riverfront and the bustling downtown area, I was able to immerse myself in Porto's unique blend of history and modernity. Our unit faced a tranquil courtyard, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed atmosphere - an unexpected luxury amidst the city's liveliness (we don't know how loud the Flores street-facing units are) . A delightful bonus was the direct access to Flores Street, a charming pedestrian-only thoroughfare that truly captured the essence of Porto's charm. The unit was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The inclusion of a washing machine in the unit was a thoughtful touch, allowing me to conveniently take care of laundry during my stay. All communication with the hosts was efficiently handled through WhatsApp, adding a contemporary touch to the overall experience. NOT SO GREAT: As with any stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks worth noting. The wifi is not great - especially if you consider to do some work (e.g. video calls). The apartment's pedestrian-only accessibility meant that taxis couldn't directly reach the doorstep. However, the proximity of the street alleviated this concern, unless mobility challenges are a significant consideration. Another small issue was the occasional noise from upstairs, particularly the sound of moving chairs or footsteps. While this didn't majorly impact my stay, it's worth mentioning for those seeking absolute tranquility
