I recently had the pleasure of staying at Youth Station Hostel and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and youthful atmosphere of the hostel was palpable. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a big smile. Their local knowledge and helpful tips made exploring the city so much easier. The hostel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The dorm rooms were comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities. The common areas were lively and provided a great space to meet fellow travelers from around the world. It was the perfect environment for making new friends and sharing travel stories.The location of the hostel was also excellent. It was centrally located, with easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, ensuring that we had everything we needed right at our doorstep

Value for money hostel. Very nice and polite personnel working there. The area around it is buzzy with a few bars around to visit. If you book early is a good value for money place but if you book last minute is not that value for money. I would propose this hostel for some days. The staff are friendly, very close to metro so great for travelling around. Made a few friends along the way. besides that it has everything you need u can.The workers are very nice. They are Maintaining well hygiene, clean and neat.

Although the manager Marco and his staff were very friendly with me in our exchanges, nearly everything else was terrible. It was so bad that I uncomfortably asked a work colleague (who I didn’t know well), to host me on their couch for the last 3 nights of my 4-night stay. The Negatives: The rooms are poorly ventilated, very musty; the “white” sheets and bedding provided are nearly yellow from overuse; the thin metal bunk bed frames are so frail that you can’t move in bed without making noise, making sleeping there a very uncomfortable experience. The sounds of outside, from the generally busy road to airplanes (starting at 7am) and construction work next door make for a rough wake up call. The fridge is poorly organized and too small for the amount of people staying there. The Positives: The shower was excellent so I was able to feel less unclean. Also, after my first room did not have air conditioning, Marco very kindly changed my room to one with air conditioning, which was much appreciated given the September heat. Context: I have stayed in many different hostels across Italy and other countries, this is definitely one of the worst ones I have stayed at. As others have written, I feel bad leaving such a bad review because the manager Marco is super friendly. That said, this hostel does not deserve such a high rating (to the point where I genuinely wonder if some of the reviews are purchased). Conclusion: If this is the only thing in your budget, I understand the choice and it can be bearable. That said, no one should leave a hostel feeling uncomfortable and more exhausted than when they arrive. Personally next time I fly into Rome for work, I will spend an extra €100 if it means staying somewhere slightly more comfortable.

Excellent value for money. I stayed in this hostel from 08/23/2023 for 4 nights in a 6 bed room with air conditioning and private bathroom. Clean, well-lit and airy room, double-glazed window that isolates noise from outside, equally clean and spacious bathroom. Kitchenette to cook a few quick meals or prepare a coffee or tea. Nice and quiet place. Place well served by public transport: a few steps away is the underground stop of line B Bologna station which is 3 stops from Termini railway station. Friendly and helpful staff to meet the various needs of the hostel guests. I would stay here again on my next visit to Rome.

Value for money hostel. Nothing extraordinary. Very nice and polite personnel working there. The area around it is buzzy with a few bars around to visit. Not very close to the city centre but Bologna metro station is 2 min away and it takes about 8-10 minutes to go to Termini station which is a central station. Reception is not 24 hours. If you book early is a good value for money place but if you book last minute is not that value for money.
