Bareli Airport (IATA Code: BEK) is located at Izzatnagar, 6 km from the northern side of the city, at the Trishul Air Base of the Indian Air Force. Bareli Airport is part of a civil enclave, which means it is used for commercial purposes to serve the city of Bareli and by the Indian Air Force as a military airbase. The airport became functional for civilians in 2019. Currently, the airport has a single terminal building spread over an area of 2500 sq m and can accommodate around 150 passengers. The airport operates only domestic flights and connects the city of Bareli with several cities across India.
