Visakhapatnam Airport (IATA- VTZ) is the second busiest airport in the state and is located 7 km from the city’s central area. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) as a civil enclave. It is also used as a naval airbase and has flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. About Hubballi Airport 

The Bellary airport is not operational yet. The nearest airport to Bellary is the Hubbali Airport (IATA: HBX). The airport is about 8 km away from the city. Hubbali airport is only meant for domestic flights and serves Hubli and Dharwad in Karnataka. It is the third-busiest and fastest-growing airport in the state.

Hubballi Airport can handle 300 passengers simultaneously (including arrivals and departures). The airport terminal offers you services such as the availability of canteen facilities on the airport premises, assistance to physically challenged/ aged/ infirm, child care rooms, first-aid, wheelchair, trolleys, car rental service, snacks, and refreshments at the security hold area. About Bellary

The district of Bellary, now known as Ballari, is situated on the eastern side of Karnataka state. It lies almost in the centre of Karnataka, extending from northeast to southwest. Ballari Fort

One of the city’s most historic sites, Ballari Fort, sits on top of the Ballari Gudda, or Fort Hill. It is believed to have been constructed by Palegar chief Hanumappa Nayaka during Vijayanagara rule. The fort is divided into two parts.
